Your calculator inputs

The calculator runs in your browser. Our calculator code does not transmit or store your entered prices. There is no brokerage connection. Joining the waitlist is optional; the calculator is free without signing up.

Market Brief waitlist

When you open the waitlist, we load Beehiiv's official signup form. Loading it shares connection information, including your IP address, browser/device information and page information, with Beehiiv; its form may use cookies or similar technology. The email address you enter is processed by Beehiiv to confirm your signup, notify you when The Market Brief launches and deliver the newsletter once launched. You can unsubscribe at any time. We do not use your signup to send the retired sports newsletter. See Beehiiv’s privacy policy. Opening or clicking the form does not establish a confirmed subscription.

Website delivery

Cloudflare delivers this website and processes connection information such as IP addresses, request details and security signals. Hosting and security reports may include automated traffic as well as visitors. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing.

Page analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits, referring websites and page performance. It is separate from Cloudflare’s hosting and security reports. We do not use advertising pixels or track your calculator inputs or brokerage activity. Page visits do not prove someone used a calculator. See how Cloudflare Web Analytics works.

Tool and explanation counts

On the main site, our first-party measurement code sends a fixed event name and the page category when a calculation succeeds, an example is tried, an explanation is opened, or a selected contract’s Cboe chain link is clicked. Only that chain-link event also includes one fixed ticker label: NVDA, AAPL, TSLA or SPY. It sends no entered prices, account details, full URLs, referrers or visitor identifiers. It sets no analytics cookies and stores nothing on your device.

We store those event labels and counts with timestamps in Cloudflare Analytics Engine, which retains them for three months. These are aggregate usage signals, not unique people, proof of understanding, or verified human traffic. Each event is counted at most once per page load; chain-link clicks are counted once per ticker per page load. Automated traffic, repeat visits, blockers and network failures can affect counts.

Our custom event code does not send events when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. That opt-out applies to our custom events; it does not disable Cloudflare’s separate hosting/security processing or its page-analytics beacon. Calculator inputs are excluded regardless of browser preference. Development and preview copies do not send custom events.

Stock context

The homepage loads a TradingView stock-context widget; TradingView receives the visitor’s IP address, page URL, widget type and symbol, as described in its widget privacy FAQ.

Other websites

Source links lead to independently operated websites with their own privacy practices. Do not enter account credentials or personal financial information in our price fields.
